Have you ever noticed that we make the simplest things difficult? Have you ever noticed that we put off doing the img002simplest of tasks? I would like to share with you a biblical story that models the opposite of both those things.

“The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, treat “Follow me.” Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” Nathanael said to him, buy cialis “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” John 1:43-47 ESV

First, click like Philip, Jesus invites you and I to “follow” him. And that invitation is the most blessed thing that can happen in our life. Jesus has invited you to follow him, there is no greater news. So may we not put it off, but go and tell everyone.

Secondly, inviting or telling someone about Jesus is as simple as saying, “Come and see.” When we share pictures of a new baby we are so excited and we say, come and see. When we move into a new home, we tell people to come and see. So then regarding the most important blessing ever, following Jesus, we need to invite people to come and see! It is just that simple.

Don’t put it off any longer. If you are a follower of Jesus you are blest. And as a follower of Jesus, like Philip you are to invite others to come and see. There is no time to loose, you may be there only invitation to meet Jesus.
