Reserve your spot today and hear from our guest speaker Jake Mulder as he takes us through the teachings in his book Growing Young. Learning how to Grow Young can change the way you do ministry!
Unleashing the passion of young people in your church is possible!
Churches are losing both members and vitality as increasing numbers of young people disengage. Based on groundbreaking research with over 250 of the nation’s leading congregations, Growing Young provides a strategy any church can use to involve and retain teenagers and young adults. It profiles innovative churches that are engaging 15- to 29-year-olds and as a result are growing–spiritually, emotionally, missionally, and numerically. Growing Young co-author Jake Mulder will show pastors and ministry leaders how to position their churches to engage younger generations in a way that breathes vitality, life, and energy into the whole church. The daylong workshop is designed for church leaders (senior and associate pastors, key volunteers, board members, youth leaders, and anyone else who cares about young people) to do a deep dive into the essentials of Growing Young and other cutting-edge research from the Fuller Youth Institute.
This event is open to all Pastors, leadership and anyone who has a passion for youth.
Reservations can be made online, by mail or by calling Faith’s office.

Growing Young in the News:
Jake Mulder Our guest speaker is one of the authors of the book GROWING YOUNG.
Jake Mulder is the director of strategic initiatives at the Fuller Youth Institute and is pursuing a PhD at Fuller Theological Seminary. He has worked in a variety of ministry and professional roles, including as a youth pastor in the Reformed Church of America, ministry director with Youth for Christ, and missionary with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) in Europe and Asia.
The fuller Youth Institute also has an assessment you, your leadership, or your whole church can take. The assessment is an academically-validated survey tool that provides vital insights about your church’s effectiveness with young people. Based on the 6 core commitments discovered during four years of Growing Young research, the assessment will highlight both strengths and growth areas based on data collected from you, your team, or your entire congregation.
