God is amazing!!!
The mission trip is coming to an end, no rx and we have seen and experienced so many awesome things. One of the things that I thought was great about the trip, was something that AdventureServe calls “Seed Thought” this is where they begin with a certain topic and Scripture. After you spend time with that you get to spend time alone with God either answering and wrestling with questions that they gave you, or just spending time mediating on the awesomeness of what God was doing. I know that God time was a huge part of this mission trip. Today we finished up at Charlie’s house, and we didn’t get it all complete, but what God accomplished through us was amazing. We were able to get a lot of the concrete poured, OSB board put up, and so many other great things. This mission trip truly put many of us out of our comfort zone, and we had to do things we had never done before. Today was a hot hot day it was in the upper 90’s and there was a lot of work to do this last day.
God has opened my eyes so much this week, and a deeper love for what I have been called to do. I have also seen so much growth spiritual in all of the kids, and in their leadership. God is working in each and every one of them, and it is such a blessing to be apart of it.
Tomorrow we are headed to go rock climbing at repelling, which is going to be a lot of fun. After that we are going to a local restaurant for pizza, and finally we will head to Wilmore, Ky to spend Friday night. We will head back home early on Saturday morning, so continue to pray for safety on our way back.
