Rev. Dr. Trisha Smith
Senior Pastor

Trisha is the senior pastor at Faith Lutheran and is responsible for preaching, vision casting, and leadership. She and her husband, Brad and their two children, joined the Faith Family in 2018. She has obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Marketing, a master’s degree in Adult Education and a minor in Training, a Doctoral degree in Philosophy, Psychology, and Technology, and a Pastoral degree. She was ordained in 2020. She is involved in many ministries such as the Literacy Connection at Washington School, New Life In Christ, and the Moline Housing Authority Board. In her free time, Trisha enjoys scrapbooking, quilting, reading, watching the White Sox and Green Bay Packers play.

Rev. Dr. Emma Claire Rasoarivonjy
Missions Pastor
Emma Claire Rasoarivonjy is from Madagascar and serves as our Pastor to the Ministry for Missions Abroad or Stateside. She was raised in a Lutheran Family with both grandfathers being Pastors. She is married to Norbert with two daughters Fia an Fano. She earned two degrees in Madagascar:

Bachelor of Sciences in Biology, minor in Math and Chemistry.

Bachelor of Theology, major in Systematic Theology.
She came to the USA for graduate studies and earned three degrees.

Master of Art in Theological Studies, major in Pastoral Care.

Master in Library and Information Sciences, major in Academic Studies.

Doctor of Ministry, major in Leadership.
She was sent as Church representative to different countries in Africa, Asia, Europe & America and ordained at Faith Lutheran Church, LCMC in 2024 as the First Malagasy Woman Lutheran Pastor. (40 years after completing her pastoral diploma from the Regional Lutheran Theological Seminary (STPL) of Ambatofinandrahana). She is committed to leadership and servanthood in God’s Mission.

Dana, a very knowledgeable and talented musician, has been with Faith since 2006.

Rev. Bev Hansen

Bev is the Associate Pastor to the Ministry for Pulpit Supply. Bev has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa, an MA in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Iowa, and an MA in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Her education-related occupations include: Civilian Instructor of Basic Electronics for the Air Force, Curriculum Developer for ALCOA’s Craft Training Department, and Instructional Designer for the Hazardous Material Training and Research Department at Eastern Iowa Community College. She met and married her late-husband Jim while an Apprentice Electrician for ALCOA, prior to becoming a Journeyman Electrician. She has three children, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, and a dog named Paddie. In addition to preaching once or twice a month on average, she produces a video log on YouTube titled Rev Bev at Faith, where she presents bible-based “mini sermons.”

Barbara is a Registered Nurse, obtaining her degree in 1992. In her role as the parish nurse she makes home visits, hospital visits, and nursing home visits to provide pastoral care along with a nursing perspective. In addition, Barbara is available for blood pressure checks, health education, and support on Sunday mornings and during the week. She is married to her husband Ted and has 2 children and 12 grandchildren. In her free time she like to watch the St. Louis Cardinals and cross stitching.

Ron White

Ron joined the staff in February, 2025. Prior to that he was a computer analyst for 22 years with Hawkeye Security in Des Moines followed by 22 years in medical office administrative work. He has a lifelong love of art, music, and history.
